By creating an account or using ResuMax, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced via email to active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect.
ResuMax is an AI-powered resume builder and job-search assistant. The service includes resume creation and storage, AI-generated bullet rewrites and summaries, ATS scoring, job-description tailoring, cover-letter generation, interview-question suggestions, and PDF and Word exports. The exact features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
You must be at least 16 years old to use ResuMax. You sign in using Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for keeping that underlying account secure. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you put in your resume; we do not verify employment history, education, or any other claims.
ResuMax offers a free plan and two paid plans:
Payment is processed by Stripe. Pricing may change for new subscribers; existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice of any price change before it affects their plan. Subscribers on earlier plans keep their original pricing for as long as they remain continuously subscribed.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle and you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused time on partial billing periods. If you believe you've been billed in error or have a specific concern, email swerikcode@gmail.com and we will review the request.
You own everything you create with ResuMax: your resumes, cover letters, and any content you upload. You grant ResuMax a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your resume content to train AI models, and we do not share it with anyone outside the vendors listed in our Privacy Policy.
ResuMax generates text using AI. AI output can be incorrect, outdated, or invented. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before you submit it anywhere. ResuMax makes no guarantee that AI-generated content is factually accurate, will produce a job interview, or will pass any specific applicant tracking system or human reviewer.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
The ResuMax software, templates, brand, and design are owned by ResuMax. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you. You may use the templates and exported documents for your own job search without restriction.
ResuMax improves the quality of your resume, the speed of your job search, and your understanding of which roles fit your profile. ResuMax does not guarantee that you will receive any interview, offer, or job as a result of using the service. Hiring outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
ResuMax is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim for high uptime but do not commit to a specific service-level agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResuMax's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario unless your jurisdiction grants you the right to sue locally as a consumer.
